Exciting performance on Thursday, Nov 1!

I have been in contact with the Detroit Red Wings and Little Caesar's Arena and once again the Trenton HS Band will be performing in downtown Detroit.  This time, however, we will be doing a performance very similar to the basketball tournament gig (it might be outside the arena this time - not sure of details yet).  I was given a set of games we could choose from after being invited.  The game I chose was still in first trimester (important), on a weeknight not a weekend, and best still, it's when the New Jersey Devils come to town with their team captain, Andy Greene, who is a Trenton HS alumnus and former THS hockey player!  We can make that night a nice Trenton community event.  We will be attending the actual Red Wings game as well (students, parents, and others will purchase tickets through band/band boosters at a reduced rate (approximately $30)  All students will also receive a special edition medallion of the event that can be attached to varsity jackets.  It will be a great experience and another way to celebrate the great cities of Trenton and Detroit.
