Jazz Band this week Tuesday 2:30-4 and Wednesday 5:30-7pm.
Scrip Fundraiser: We have launched our own Scrip fundraiser that allows for you to start raising funds for your student musician by purchasing E -gift cards or physical gift cards. You need to download the RaiseRight app to use properly. You should have received an invite to your email - please check "spam " folders and "promotion" folders to find the invitation from RaiseRight. You may share this invite with whomever you choose (so extended family/friends may purchase cards to use to accumulate funds for your students' band account). To get credit for your student, they will prompt you to type in their name. If someone wants to accept it on behalf of the the GENERAL BAND, you can type in "band boosters" instead of a specific name.
Trenton Band Boosters Comedy Show: We will be hosting a comedy show fundraiser on March 11, 2023 at Parkside Gardens (please see flyer below). Tickets to the show are $20 - we will be selling tickets to band parents exclusively through January 11, 2023. There are limited tickets available so please secure your tickets! We will sell and advertise tickets to the general public starting January 12, 2023.
Band Camp 2023 Meeting: We will be having our Band Camp meeting for next year on January 11, 2023 starting at 6:30pm in the THS Band Room. At this meeting we will be going over cost, payment plan/process, and the registration form.

Weekly Announcements 12/12/22:

Winter Band Concert: Our "Winter Solstice Concert" is this week - Tuesday, December 13 at 7pm in the THS Auditorium. Students are expected to be at THS by 6:30pm in concert black attire. Please come out to support your students' performances! Here is the program. Program will be digital and available via QR codes posted in the auditorium. Students are expected to stay for the duration of the concert to support the other bands performing.
Trenton Band Boosters Meeting: Wednesday, December 14 at 6:30pm in the THS Band Room. Topics being covered include: Financial Update, Fundraising Update, Scrip, Band Banquet, Trenton Cultural Commission Fundraising, and Converting the MS/HS meetings to one monthly meeting beginning January 2023.
Trenton Band Boosters Elections 2023: The election process will beging in January. A "Nominating Committee" chairperson will be selectd and is responsible for collecting and recording nominations through February. The slate of nomincation is presented at the March 2023 Booster Meeting. Voting by private/secret ballot in April 2023. Elected Officers assume their offices at the May 2023 meeting. Please send any questions to trentonbandboosters1@gmail.com. The following Officers are to be elected (one year term):
- President, Vice President, Recording Secretary, Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary, Publicity Chairperson, Fundraising Chairperson.

- March 2-4 , 2023: Anticipated MSBOA Band Festival Dates (Details TBA)

Weekly Announcements 12/5/22

Buffalo Wild Wings Fundraiser: TODAY! BWW on West Road in Woodhaven will be donating a portion of all proceeds back to the Trenton HS Bands. Please show your flyer (attached) for all carry out and or dine in orders. We will be aiming to get together from 6-8pm at BWW and I will announce the 2023 show at 7pm.
Poinsettia/Wreath Pick Up: Tuesday 12/6. Poinsettia/Wreath orders will be available for pick up Tuesday (Tomorrow) 12/6 from 3:30pm- 6:30pm inside the auditorium doors. All orders MUST be picked up by 6:30pm. No holds.
Sockathon: Reminder that we have our Sockathon fundraiser ongoing.
Jazz Band: Rehearsal this week Tuesday 2:30-4pm & Wednesday 5:30-7pm.
AMS Winter Concert: Wednesday, December 7 at 7 pm in the THS Auditorium.
WINTER SOLSTICE CONCERT: Tuesday, December 13 at 7pm. Students should report to the THS Band Room by 6:30pm. Concert will take place in the THS Auditorium. Performing will be the Jazz Band, Concert Band & Symphony Band.
Trenton Band Boosters Meeting: Our next meeting will be Wednesday, December 14 in the THS Band Room from 6:30-7:30pm. A call for agenda items has already gone out, please contact Dave Cebina if you want to add something to the agenda.
