The 2019 THS Marching Band had our first full band practice tonight after school.   Rookies met their seniors, music was played, and we got the gears moving on our fall show, “South of the Border”.   Onward and upward!

I have added the MSBOA District 12 Marching Band Festival on Monday, Oct 14 to our fall schedule.  I usually function as the site chair for the MSBOA event but want to participate with the band this year.  It functions much like concert band festival with ratings but most importantly, it will give us a professional video recording of our performance from high on top of their press box in the evening (LED lights, remember) in mid October.  It's a regular practice night anyway so instead of practice, we will perform at Flat Rock HS!
