2nd Trimester Band and Chorus Concert will be on Wednesday, Feb 27 at 7 pm. Dress will be white/black just like how we will be dressed 72 hours later for band festival. I need all students here by 6:40 on Feb 27. Concert will be only approx. 50 minutes in length.
NOTE: Unfortunately due to many student conflicts, snow days, swim leagues, band concert, spring musical rehearsals, and every other conflict all the other nights of the week that could be dreamed of, our plan to have JAZZ BAND rehearsals on Wednesday nights 6-7:30pm in Jan-March is a fail. So right now, Jazz Band is on hold - most likely until after spring break. It is unfortunate that this is the case but if there are no students available, there's no way for me to rehearse them. Hopefully by April, many of the student conflicts will be resolved and of course the musical, swim season, and other things will be over by then. 2019 MSBOA District 12 band festival
Saturday, March 2 8:30 am Band room open/start loading van 9:15 am Load buses/depart for Ypsilanti Lincoln HS 10:25 Arrive YLHS - move to homeroom area then to warm up rooms 11:20 Performance on stage / sight reading will also occur on stage 12:20 Load/leave Approx 1:30 Back at Trenton HS Dress is formal white (top) and black (bottom). All black is fine. Suits and ties fine. NO SNEAKERS or T-SHIRTS. Public can attend no charge. |
